Sign your support letter today and help us build a better tomorrow for California

Your letter will let our legislature know that you, your organization, and your community embrace Casita-supported bills. Help us sign these bills into law by taking the most important step, sharing your support.

  • 1. Download the support letter template, adding your org name to the file name when you save it.

    2. Complete the yellow highlighted areas (org name, date, signature block, optional paragraph describing why the bill is particularly important for your org)

    3. Copy and paste the instructions at the top of the letter somewhere else on your computer, then delete instructions from the letter.

    4. Remove all yellow highlighting.

    5. Copy onto your letterhead, or add logo at the top

    6. Add a digital signature (or print, sign and scan)

    7. Save as PDF or Word

    8. Upload to the Letter Submission Portal, here: https://calegislation.lc.ca.gov/Advocates/

    You may have to create a free account (it’s quick and easy)

    9. Email a copy of the letter to the two persons specified in the instructions

    10. Congratulate yourself for helping make a difference with the housing crisis!
