This year we’ll be exploring emerging middle housing solutions, looking at implementation challenges and highlighting best practices for ADUs and other middle housing types. Our panels of ADU and middle housing movers, shakers and innovators will share progress reports from the field on their big ideas to bust remaining first- and second-generation barriers to large-scale adoption of the kind of housing variety we need.

2024 Building the Middle Series

Casita Coalition’s 2024 webinar series explored the many benefits of middle housing types--all the categories of homes in between a single dwelling on a lot and mid-rise multifamily buildings. We looked at the remaining systems barriers, implementation challenges and awareness gaps, and shared cross-sector learnings and solutions to speed equitable adoption, on the path to the more inclusive, attainable, resilient neighborhoods we need.
