Jenna Louie, Board Member
Head of Strategy and Policy, Villa Homes
Casita Coalition board member Jenna Louie is the Head of Strategy and Policy at Villa, whose mission is to be the easiest, fastest, and most cost-efficient way to build homes. In her role, Jenna leads strategic partnerships with public sector or nonprofit clients and supports Villa's engagement with policy and legislative issues.
Prior to joining Villa, Jenna was the Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer at Ivory Innovations, a nonprofit dedicated to catalyzing innovative solutions in housing affordability. She was responsible for leading Ivory’s annual grantmaking competition, the Ivory Prize, reviewing applications from innovators across all parts of the housing industry. She built a strong network and understanding of innovators, funders, and capacity builders across the U.S. housing ecosystem to advance both Ivory’s work as well as the most promising housing innovators and their solutions. Her past professional experiences also include roles in corporate strategy and consulting.
Jenna brings a unique personal perspective to board service. She was raised in Hawaii, which instilled in her a deep appreciation for both inclusive communities and the importance of housing supply. She holds an AB from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In addition to Casita Coalition’s board, she also serves on the Board of Directors for Build UP, a trades-focused educational model, and Give for the Future, a capacity builder accelerating philanthropic giving.
