Multigenerational ADU in the Spotlight

NBC 7 interviewed Casita Coalition CEO Noerena LImon for a segment on how families are using ADUs to create flexible multigenerational properties. A San Diego extended family found an innovative backyard solution to the high cost of housing and childcare by making room for not one grandma, but two. The factory-built ADU by Villa Homes is owned by one grandmother, who leased part of a backyard from the other grandmother so they could help with childcare for the working parents.
